Post-Modern Estate

This 7,200 square foot home on Lake Maitland represents the owners' desire for a fresh expression of the French Château theme. The contemporary, free-standing entry pavilion is nested in a glass surround within the quoined entry gable. Integration within the older neighborhood is achieved by gable-dormers at all upper bedrooms set within 1 1/2 story walls rather than full two story walls, to ensure that the home not be overimposing.
